If you or a family member require a hospital stay, you can count on the medical professionals at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital to do whatever it takes to make your hospitalization as comfortable as possible. With that in mind, we present the following helpful information:

Admissions

Most of our patients require multidisciplinary medical care for acute or chronic medical or surgical conditions. Patients are admitted by private general pediatricians, The University of Texas Pediatric Group and pediatricians who specialize in cardiology, neurology, infectious diseases, endocrinology, hematology and psychiatry.

Many referrals are made from area hospitals for children who require more intense treatment or advanced diagnostic care. While our primary surgical specialties are general, neurology, plastic and otolaryngology, we are equipped to care for children with any medical or surgical problem.

All hospital patients should be registered with an admissions representative located on the 1st floor of Cullen Pavilion.

Please call (713) 704-KIDS (5437) if you have any questions regarding the admissions process.
