What In-Room Technology Means for You

More Access to Your Care Team

Your room includes secure video technology that allows you to connect with a virtual nurse. The virtual nurse is available to provide support and answer any questions during admission and discharge.

You now have an expanded care team focused on you—the virtual nurse along with the bedside nurse work together during your hospital stay for your comfort and convenience.

Safer Care, Day and Night

Your room’s technology helps to protect your privacy by:

• Monitoring for potential fall risks
• Alerting staff if you appear to be in a potentially unsafe position

Important things to know:

• You are never being recorded.
• The system does not store video.
• The camera will never follow you into the bathroom.
• Bathroom areas are not monitored.

At night, instead of entering your room and waking you, your care team may perform a brief visual safety check—helping you rest more comfortably.

MyChart Bedside on Your TV

You can now access MyChart Bedside directly on your hospital TV—in addition to your tablet or mobile device.

This allows you to:
