Scholarships are exclusively for air fare expenses. Expenses for meals, lodging, ground transportation, etc., are not included in scholarships. Limited amounts are offered for scholarships for domestic flights, which include North and Central America countries, and for international flights, which include the remainder of the world.
Memorial Hermann Medical Missions offers scholarships for non-physician employees of Memorial Hermann Health System, eligible retired employees, employees of Memorial Hermann Health System medical staff members and medical staff residents; e.g., Family Practice and Anesthesiology residents.
Once or twice during a calendar year depending on availability of funds.
Memorial Hermann Medical Missions offers donations for the purchase of supplies and/or pharmaceuticals for physicians on the medical staff and eligible retired physicians of Memorial Hermann Health System who are participating on medical missions.
Memorial Hermann Medical Missions only offers scholarships and supplies to Memorial Hermann medical staff physicians and employees who wish to participate in medical missions in an organization of their choice.

Yes. Memorial Hermann Medical Missions may support organizations that assist our community in times of disaster.
Organizations such as Project Cure, phone number 832.251.2489, Medical Bridges, phone number 713.748.8131, and others are in need of volunteers to work in their locations in Houston. You can assist with unpacking, packing, inventory, phone calls, etc. You can also volunteer to serve at the annual Medical Missions golf tournament.
