While those statistics are published again and again, very few victims of sexual assault have the courage to come and seek help, and end up suffering in silence. 11 Memorial Hermann hospitals are Sexual Assault Forensic Examination (SAFE)-Ready Designated Facilities and ready to give help at a moment’s notice. We don’t want those who are travelling to become victims of sexual assault, so Jamie Ferrell, Director of Forensic Nursing Services, Memorial Hermann Health System, has all of the tips and hard truths regarding sexual assault and ways to stay safe.
