HEAL High School students were welcomed amidst cheers from Memorial Hermann mentors and Aldine ISD staff for their first day of the 2026-27 school year. The 2026-27 school year marks the first year that the HEAL High School facility, which is located on the campus of Nimitz High School, will consist solely of HEAL students. Students will begin utilizing the new simulated hospital space, which had its ribbon cutting at the end of the last school year, on a daily basis in the coming weeks. Not only that, but many of the students have now started paid internships with Memorial Hermann. They are able to fully immerse themselves in the hospital setting by working as patient care technicians or rehab technicians.
