The Pathology and Laboratory Medicine staff at Memorial Hermann Southeast includes specialists in all areas of anatomic and clinical pathology. They are experienced in cancer diagnosis, as well as evaluating and responding to other medical problems, including infection and effects of treatment. Pathology services include autoimmune testing, coagulation, surgical pathology, toxicology and transfusion medicine.
In addition to highly personalized physical care, the care team at the Cancer Center also provides emotional support and support services during the entire course of each patient’s treatment. Nutritionists and social workers support the physicians and nurses, assisting patients through recovery and healing.

The physicians at the Cancer Center are board certified in radiation oncology and have extensive experience in treating all types of adult cancer patients. Many of our oncology nurses have completed national certification in oncology nursing and earned the credential OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse), the gold standard for oncology nurses.
