Memorial Hermann Bariatric Programs (Memorial City, Southeast, Texas Medical Center, Sugar Land, Cypress and The Woodlands) are accredited by MBSAQIP (Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program. However, patients should request a physician's personal certification, if any, and their experience and qualifications before proceeding with any bariatrics procedure.

Affiliated surgeons and nurses provide a full range of surgery options, including gastric banding (lap band), gastric sleeve, gastric bypass and duodenal switch.
