Dr. Ryan Walsh has been a practicing Family Physician since 2005, practicing a full scope of Family Medicine services. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and in the School of Biomedical Informatics. Outside of his clinical duties he is the Chief Medical Information Officer for Ambulatory Care and Population Health at Memorial Hermann.
Dr. Komal Talati is devoted to the care of patients and offers a full range of healthcare options, including preventive medicine and treatment for existing problems for patients of all ages, from children to seniors. Dr. Talati’s special interests include women’s health and preventive medicine.
Dr. Saul Torres sees patients from newborns to adults. Among the many conditions he treats, his clinical interests include care of young adults, pediatrics, and preventative medicine. Fluent in medical Spanish, Dr. Torres enjoys the variety and continuity of care that family medicine provides, and appreciates the importance of communication and building trust with his patients.
Dr. Vanessa Recavarren provides long-term, comprehensive management of both common and complex medical illnesses to patients ages 18 and older. She sees patients for sick visits, diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions and ongoing care for chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes and cardiac conditions.
Dr. Jennifer Ukwu treats patients of all ages for acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, weight control, nutrition management and women’s health, including Pap tests. She also performs ear lavages, which is a safe method of removing excess wax in clinic. Her clinical interests include women’s health, holistic medicine and preventive care.
Akuvi Elhor Gbito, M.S.N., RN, FNP-C, family nurse practitioner at Memorial Hermann Medical Group Pearland, received both her bachelor’s and master’s in nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center School of Nursing. Fluent in French, Akuvi sees patients from 2 years old to adults and has a special interest in wellness and preventive medicine with an emphasis on early detection and treatment of various chronic diseases.
