Major Campus Expansion Project: Katy's First Hospital Continues to Grow

Memorial Hermann Katy’s latest expansion will add 115,000-square-fee of new and renovated service areas, nearly 100 beds, a third professional office building, and additional surface lot, including a parking garage, to better serve the greater Katy area’s growing population.

This major project includes:

• Doubling the size of the Emergency Center
• 80 universal beds
• 2 additional operating rooms
• 6 neonatal intensive care beds
• 6 antepartum beds
• A neonatal continuing care unit
• Expansion of existing cardiac catheterization lab recovery area
• A parking garage
• Third Medical Plaza
• Adding labor and delivery rooms, including a cesarean section (C-section) suite and doubling the number of obstetrical emergency rooms.

Memorial Hermann Katy is focused on expanding its capabilities in the areas of trauma and critical care medicine, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery and more to better respond to the emergent needs of those who live and work in and around Katy.
