Dr. Cherry Chau, MD

Dr. Cherry Chau is a native Houstonian who earned her undergraduate degree in human biology at The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency at the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Sugar Land.

As a board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Chau provides comprehensive services to both children and adults. She treats chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, asthma and depression, as well as acute concerns such as rashes, colds and minor injuries. She also sees patients for annual physicals, sports physicals, well child exams and well woman exams. Her clinical interests include diabetes care, smoking cessation and weight management.

Compassionate and collaborative, Dr. Chau takes the time to listen to her patients' concerns and understand their medical needs. She works with her patients to create individualized treatment plans and achieve positive medical outcomes. She enjoys getting to know her patients over time and celebrating their successes, both medical and personal, along with them.

In her free time, Dr. Chau likes to learn new languages. Currently fluent in Cantonese Chinese and conversational in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. She hopes to add more languages to the list in the future.
