HOUSTON (November 11, 2024)

Memorial Hermann Health System has been named one of the Top Workplaces 2024 by the Houston Chronicle. Ranked 20th among large companies with 500 or more local employees, Memorial Hermann was the highest ranked health care organization in that category.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. The confidential survey assesses a number of factors that impact an employee’s experience within a workplace, including leadership, culture and opportunity for growth.

“This recognition reflects Memorial Hermann’s ongoing commitment to expanding its investment in the health and well-being of its workforce by shaping an organizational culture rooted in deep trust, compassion and respect and driven by a commitment to excellence,” said Lori Knowles, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Memorial Hermann. “Creating healthier communities starts by ensuring a supportive environment for our workforce. That’s part of our culture and a key component of the delivery of high-value care. We're honored to be recognized by the Houston Chronicle.”

Memorial Hermann’s inclusion on the Houston Chronicle’s “Top Workplaces of 2024” comes on the heels of the System’s recognition on Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work list, Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2024 list of Best Places to Work in Health Care list and the Houston Business Journal’s 2024 list of Outstanding Diverse Organizations.
