Care You Need From the Comfort of Your Home

Video visits provide a convenient way to connect with your provider through a scheduled video appointment. Through video visits, you can receive care for common illnesses and chronic diseases without traveling to the doctor’s office.

Video visits allow you to have a face-to-face appointment over video with your provider. Your video visit will be conducted by using either your smartphone, tablet or computer to connect to the visit through your My Memorial Hermann MyChart account. You can schedule and access video visits through MyChart, allowing you to see your provider more conveniently within our secure patient portal.

Through a video visit, patients can speak with their provider to help manage an ongoing or chronic health condition, get medication refills and receive a diagnosis for a variety of common medical conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Follow-up for an acute care visit (last seen within 8 weeks by a provider)
  • Medication management -- refills, medication changes, etc. (if patient has been seen in person within the last 12 months)
  • Chronic disease management -- blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid, etc. (if patient has been seen in person within the last 12 months)
  • Follow-up of lab test and imaging results
  • Referrals
  • Mental health follow-up
  • Some skin rashes
