Event Description
This in-person class, led by a breastfeeding expert, will prepare you for everything you need to know to meet your breastfeeding goals: benefits of breastfeeding, tips for a successful start, how the body makes milk, positioning, latching, assessing baby’s intake and output, breast challenges, breast care. Importance of a support system, pumping and storage of breast milk, returning to work, weaning will also be covered.
Register expectant person only. Partners are highly encouraged to attend.
Please bring your snacks/meals. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring a sweater.
