Memorial Hermann Wound Care provides comprehensive outpatient chronic wound management, to the Cypress community, through our state-of-the-art hyperbaric and advanced center. Our approach to wound care is aggressive and comprehensive, coordinating traditional and advanced therapies and techniques that reduce healing time and improve healing rates.
Memorial Hermann Wound Care is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of affiliated physicians, nurses and technicians with advanced training in wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of patients with non-healing wounds. The wound care team works with the referring physician to coordinate a plan of care to achieve the best possible outcomes. Learn more about wound care.
Our multidisciplinary team of physicians work together to determine the best treatment plan for patients seen at Memorial Hermann Wound Care. The panel of physicians is comprised of surgical podiatrists, vascular specialists and wound care specialists, all with advanced training in wound care. The panel provides clinical oversight of wound diagnosis and treatment as well as hyperbaric chamber supervision.
We are proud to offer hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy to enhanced the body's natural healing and strengthen the immune system. HBO therapy is a treatment that is administered in a hyperbaric chamber that delivers 100% oxygen with increased atmospheric pressure. The air pressure inside a hyperbaric oxygen chamber is about two and a half times greater than the normal pressure in the atmosphere. This “hyperbaric” (or high pressure) dose of oxygen helps your blood carry more oxygen to your organs and tissues to promote wound healing. It also activates the white blood cells to fight infection.
