Please note that all patients under the age of 16 are required to be accompanied by an adult, adult family member or legal guardian during their treatment time.
Patients 16 years of age or older are required to be accompanied by an adult during their initial appointment for paper work and consent purposes. After the initial visit, adult supervision may no longer be required.
If an adult is not present with the patient as listed by our age requirements, the patient may be asked to be rescheduled.
Chris Cimo PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, Clinic Manager is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and an NSCA certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with extensive experience in the management of sports injuries. He completed his orthopedic training and education at Louisiana State University and the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, as well as residency training through Harris Health System in Houston. Chris believes in hands-on, individualized sessions, specializing in hip, shoulder, knee, and foot/ankle injuries. He also offers services for joint replacement, concussion management, and TMJ dysfunction. Chris utilizes current treatment concepts such as dry needling and kinesiotaping to enhance personal goals and athletic performance.
Alexa Edwards, PT, DPT, OCS is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, with a doctoral degree from Texas Woman’s University and residency training through Memorial Hermann. She also has advanced training in differential diagnosis, primary care, and manual therapy. Alexa treats the spectrum of orthopedic and sports injuries/conditions, including post-operative, with special interest in spine, foot/ankle, and active individuals of all ages. Alexa also has a strong background as a collegiate athlete and yoga instructor. Alexa believes in utilizing evidence-based treatment and helping her patients reach their goals through collaborative sessions specific to each individual.
Lauren Ferrante, DPT holds a bachelor of science in kinesiology and a doctorate in physical therapy. Board certified in orthopedic physical therapy, she has been in practice since 2012. Lauren provides sports medicine and orthopedic services, specializing in the neck/shoulder, thoracic/lumbar and knee areas for patients age 10 and older. In addition to regular clinic hours, she is available to schedule early morning and evening appointments.
Amy Hsieh, DPT, OCS is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist and received her doctorate in physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2017. She completed her orthopedic residency at Harris Health System in Houston with an emphasis in primary care, and has advanced training in differential diagnosis. In addition to sports concussion management, she treats sports and general orthopedic-related conditions for individuals of all ages, and specializes in treating conditions of the spine, knee, and shoulder areas. In addition to regular clinic hours, Amy is available to schedule early morning appointments.
