Dr. Daniel Miles earned his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He completed his internship and residence in general surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and a fellowship in vascular surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Board certified in vascular surgery, Dr. Miles has been in practice since 2015 and has specialized in vascular surgery since 2022. His years in general surgery provide him with a broad understanding of surgical care as well as a comprehensive foundation of surgical skills. He sees patients of all ages.

His clinical interests include cerebrovascular disease, peripheral arterial disease, limb salvage, thoracic and abdominal aortic disease, mesenteric vascular disease, venous thrombotic and embolic pathologies, thoracic outlet syndrome, venous insufficiency, end-stage renal disease and hemodialysis access.

Dr. Miles emphasizes a patient-first experience, flexible scheduling and comprehensive vascular surgery capabilities. His patients feel they are listened to, understood and placed at the center of all discussion and decision-making processes.

An assistant professor of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery at UTHealth Houston, Dr. Miles is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and Southern Association of Vascular Surgery.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, cooking, reading and rooting for his favorite sports teams.
