Dr. Vinayak Madhusoodanan, MD

Dr. Vinayak Madhusoodanan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and immunology at the University of Miami (Florida), a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in health sector management and policy, at the University of Miami Herbert Business School and his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency urology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Health System and a fellowship in reproductive medicine and men’s health at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Madhusoodanan treats all benign and cancerous conditions of the urologic tract, including conditions of the bladder, kidneys and prostate, sexual dysfunction and male fertility. He sees adult patients and speaks English, Spanish and conversational Malayalam.

His primary clinical interests include men’s health, sexual function and male fertility with a focus on quality of life and hormonal health. He employs minimally invasive surgical techniques, including endoscopic surgery, robotic surgery and micro-surgery.

Dr. Madhusoodanan prioritizes ensuring that patients feel heard and identifying a treatment plan that takes into consideration both patients’ medical needs and their personal goals

He is a member of the American Urological Society and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.
