Dr. David Kent, MD

David S. Kent, MD, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas, and earned his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth. He completed his residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Dr. Kent sees patients 18 years old and up. He treats all urologic conditions such as prostate cancer, kidney stones and bladder cancer.

Respectful and empathetic, Dr. Kent treats his patients as if they were his family and in the same way that he was treated as a urology patient. “When I was 7 years old, I had bladder and kidney surgery. The urologist was very kind to me when I was scared. I take that into consideration with my patients and I’m very calm and caring to them because I have been in their shoes before,” said Dr. Kent.

Dr. Kent expresses many rewarding factors with practicing urology, but the most important outcome in his eyes is making a difference in his patients’ lives and seeing them enjoy things they were never able to do before.

Away from the office, Dr. Kent enjoys spending time with his family and exercising.
