Dr. Vicki Schnell, MD

Dr. Vicki Schnell earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she also completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology. She furthered her training by completing a two-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.

Double board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Schnell treats patients ages 18-50. Since 1983, Dr. Schnell has cared for patients with all infertility issues. She specializes in in vitro fertilization (IVF), complex gynecological related procedures and advanced maternal age family planning.

Her patients enjoy Dr. Schnell’s personalized care, attentive nature and expertise. It is important to Dr. Schnell to truly know her patients, which she exemplifies by taking a personal interest in her patients, providing hands-on care and being involved in their care at every step.

Prior to opening her private medical practice in 1993, Dr. Schnell worked as Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, where she currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor. In addition, she serves as a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).

Throughout her career, Dr. Schnell has earned multiple recognitions and awards. Most recently she was named a “Houstonia Magazine” Top Doc.

In her spare time, Dr. Schnell enjoys cycling, participating in spin classes, taking cooking classes and traveling. Most importantly, she loves spending time with her husband and two sons.
