Dr. Harmohinder Kochar, MD

Dr. Harmohinder S. Kochar received his medical degree from the Government Medical College in Amritsar, India. He completed his residency training at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was chief resident and named the outstanding resident in medicine. His fellowship was at both Case Western Reserve University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic.

Board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care and sleep medicine, Dr. Kochar has been in practice for three decades. His expertise and clinical interests comprise all aspects of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine.

Dr. Kochar treats patients 18 years or older and speaks Punjabi and Hindi. He provides bedside care with diagnosis and individualized management plans based on each patient’s disease process. He explains the disease, diagnosis and treatment to patients and their families in easy-to-understand language.

Dr. Kochar and his wife have three grown sons. His favorite non-medical interests are sports, music, movies and get-togethers.
