Dr. Saakshi Chowdhary, DPM

Dr. Saakshi Chowdhary, who grew up in Katy, earned her undergraduate degree in nutritional science from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her residency in foot and ankle surgery at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston.

Dr. Chowdhary has been in practice since 2022 and treats patients ages 16 and older. Her primary clinical interests are wound care, diabetic foot care, sports medicine, bunions, hammertoes and limb salvage. She also speaks Hindi and some Spanish (with translation available).

A cornerstone of Dr. Chowdhary’s practice philosophy is quality, individualized care. She encourages patients to actively participate in their care and adopt healthy habits. She takes time to listen attentively, explain medical conditions in detail and offer a variety of treatment options—from conservative care to surgery—that are tailored to each patient’s lifestyle.

Patients are impressed with her compassionate attitude and credit her for putting them at ease when discussing their health concerns and questions.

A resident of Houston, Dr. Chowdhary enjoys trying new cuisines, listening to all musical genres, watching mystery and action movies, and spending time with her loved ones.
