Dr. Yasmine Monib, MD

Oklahoma native Dr. Yasmine Monib earned her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the University of Oklahoma and her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Monib, who has been in practice since 2001, is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her primary clinical interests are newborns, asthma, nutrition and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

It’s important for Dr. Monib to get to know her patients in ways that go beyond physical health, and she particularly enjoys watching children grow and develop into bright and mature adults. From minor acute conditions like colds to complex, chronic conditions, she wants families to feel they have a key role to play as part of the healthcare team.

Dr. Monib loves to spend her free time with her husband and three daughters. She also enjoys gardening, reading and painting.
