A native of the Cypress-Fairbanks area, Dr. Tahrin Siddiqua earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Houston and her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Baylor Scott and White Clinic in Temple.
Dr. Siddiqua, who is board certified in pediatrics, has been in practice in Houston since 2010. Her clinical interests include all aspects of pediatrics, particularly newborn care, health literacy, nutrition and pediatric obesity. She treats patients from newborns to 21 years old and also speaks Spanish and Bangladeshi.
She provides patient- and family-centered primary care characterized by approachability, kindness, easy access and a friendly environment. Parents appreciate that when she explains symptoms and conditions, she involves the children, so they understand what is going on.
Dr. Siddiqua is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Obesity Medical Association and American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
A resident of Cypress, she is married and the mother of two daughters. Her favorite leisure activities are spending time with her family, sports and fitness.
