Dr. Shahzad Shah, MD

Dr. Shahzad Islam Shah earned his medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. He then completed his internship in internal medicine and general surgery at the Civil Hospital in Karachi and his residency in pediatrics at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Wichita.

Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Shah has practiced medicine since 1996. His clinical interests include asthma, allergies, eczema, vaccinations and preventive medicine.

Parents appreciate Dr. Shah’s personal and compassionate care as well as the time and attention he devotes to their children. He is proactive in educating parents about their child’s health so they can make informed decisions. He strongly believes in monitoring each patient’s growth and development and preventive healthcare.

Dr. Shah is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society.

Residents of The Woodlands, Dr. Shah and his wife, who is also a pediatrician, have two children.
He is a car enthusiast and enjoys cycling and playing cricket.
