Dr. Shahid Hasnain, MD

Dr. Shahid Hasnain earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Hasnain has been in practice since 1991. His clinical interests include asthma, ADHD, diarrhea, learning disability, abdominal pain, headache, sinus infection, behavioral disorder, sports physicals, growth disorders, joint pain, anemia, circumcision and feeding disorder.

Dr. Hasnain’s practice philosophy is to treat each patient as if he or she were a family member. Dedicated to providing the best possible medical care with respect and affection, he firmly believes that children come first. He sees sick patients the same day and is accessible over the phone. Named a Top Texas Pediatrician for 2016 by Patient Reviews, Dr. Hasnain treats patients from newborn to 21 years of age. He speaks Hindi and Urdu.

Sugar Land residents, Dr. Hasnain and his wife have four children. In his spare time, he volunteers for charitable organizations.
