Dr. Lisa Ecroyd, MD

As a second grader, Lisa Ecroyd, M.D., FAAP, knew she would one day become a pediatrician. Today, not only is Dr. Ecroyd a pediatrician, Dr. Ecroyd also benefits from the perspective of being a mother of two children and strives to bring a nurturing, compassionate approach to her interactions with patients and parents. “I understand the daily joys and challenges of being a parent,” she says.

Dr. Ecroyd earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine.

Board certified, Dr. Ecroyd sees patients from newborn to age 18. She treats patients for well-child checkups, sick visits, and provides continuity of care throughout their childhood as they grow and reach milestones along the way.

Dr. Ecroyd’s clinical interests include preventive medicine, treating children with ongoing chronic conditions and teaching healthy lifestyle habits. She believes it is important to create a partnership with both her patient and their family. Dr. Ecroyd works to tailor a care plan for each family and encourages teamwork to ensure the child stays healthy.

When not working, Dr. Ecroyd enjoys spending time with her family and wake-surfing on the lake in Austin.
