Dr. Cheyenne McLaughlin, MD

After finishing an undergraduate degree in biology from Howard University in Washington DC, Dr. Cheyenne McLaughlin earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine-Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.

Dr. McLaughlin is board certified in pediatrics and holds a certificate in pediatric advanced life support. She treats all types of childhood conditions, including common colds, sore throats, fever, cough, ear pain, urinary tract infections, skin infections, bronchitis, allergies, asthma, ADHD, anxiety and depression. She also provides wellness check-ups and immunizations.

A career in medicine, allowing her to combine her love of science with her love for helping people, has been a life-long dream of Dr. McLaughlin’s. To ensure that every visit goes smoothly, Dr. McLaughlin takes her time with each patient, making sure that the child is comfortable, and that parent concerns and questions are fully addressed. Parents say she provides great medical care and follow-up, answers questions well and reassures them.

Her favorite part of practicing medicine is seeing babies at their first newborn visit and then watching them grow and develop.
