Dr. Zhen “Jane” Huang attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, as a Presidential Scholar majoring in psychology and earned her medical degree at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She completed her internship and residency training in otolaryngology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Children's National Medical Center, Washington, D.C.

Board certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, Dr. Huang has clinical interests that include congenital neck masses, hearing loss, chronic otitis media, sleep-related breathing disorders, as well as pediatric airway and dysphonia.

Dr. Huang takes the time needed to listen closely to her patients and their families. She provides individualized treatment plans for each patient which can include surgical and non-surgical options when appropriate. She takes a holistic approach to treating patients and involves the patient and family in decision-making and treatment. She sees patients up to the age of 18 and speaks Mandarin.

The author of articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, Dr. Huang has made presentations at national medical meetings. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and serves as an assistant professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston.
