Dr. Amad Qadeer is a double board-certified physician in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Qadeer grew up in Houston and attended Rice University where he graduated magna cum laude. He then completed medical school, general surgery internship, and anesthesiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Qadeer pursued further training at University of Vermont Medical Center where he completed his fellowship in interventional pain medicine. Dr. Qadeer believes in practicing evidence-based medicine and using a multidisciplinary approach to pain management including physical rehabilitation, medication management, and minimally invasive procedures to treat his patients and improve their quality of life.

He treats a wide variety of conditions including back and neck pain, joint (shoulder/hip/knee) pain, myofascial/muscular pain, neuropathic pain, sciatica/radiculopathy, abdominal pain, and post-surgical pain. Dr. Qadeer’s clinical interests include neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation), kyphoplasty/vertebral augmentation, and medical student/resident/fellow education. Dr. Qadeer stays up to date with the latest technologies, clinical practices, and techniques in the interventional pain medicine world by attending national conferences and being involved with professional societies such as American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA), American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN), and American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). In his free time, Dr. Qadeer enjoys playing basketball, biking, cooking, grilling/BBQ, and travelling.
