Dr. Wasyl Fedoriw earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and Spanish at Indiana University and his medical degree from Feiberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. He completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center and a fellowship in sports medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital, where he participated in caring for some of Houston’s professional, collegiate and high school sports teams.

In practice in Houston since 2012, Dr. Fedoriw is board certified in orthopedic surgery with subspecialty certification in sports medicine. His primary clinical interests include general orthopedic disorders, fracture care, arthritis and hip replacements via the anterior approach. He treats patients of all ages, including children, adolescents and seniors.

Dr. Fedoriw treats neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, spinal and heel pain; arthritis; bone spurs; foot disorders; fractures; joint ailments; dysplasia; lumbar stenosis; muscle diseases; musculoskeletal problems; tennis elbow; and ankle, hip and shoulder injuries. He also performs arthroscopic and single-incision surgery; kyphoplasty (minimally invasive surgery to treat spinal compression fracture); labral repair surgery; and meniscus surgery.
