Dr. Timothy Noonan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Dr. Timothy Noonan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. He graduated cum laude from Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, where he also completed his surgical internship and orthopedic surgical residency. He then completed a combined sports medicine and foot and ankle fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, McGovern Medical School at UTHealth and the Texas Orthopedic Hospital, all in Houston. He received additional training in ankle arthroplasty at Fredricksburg University in Copenhagen, Denmark, and chondrocyte transplantation at Gothenburg Medical Center in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Noonan specializes in sports medicine with an emphasis in minimally invasive treatments of the shoulder and knee.
Dr. Noonan is currently team physician for Tompkins High School in the Katy Independent School District. He has served as assistant team physician at Rice University and team physician for Spring Woods and Northbrook High Schools in the Spring Branch Independent School District.
Dr. Noonan is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Association. He serves on the faculty of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston.
A resident of Katy, Dr. Noonan has two children.
