Stefan Kreuzer, MD, MSc, earned his medical degree at UT Health San Antonio, and completed his residency training in orthopedics at UTMB School of Medicine in Galveston. Dr. Kreuzer then completed a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Board certified in general orthopaedics by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgey (ABOS), Dr. Kreuzer has a clinical interest in joint replacement surgery and is considered a pioneer in the development of minimally invasive and computer-assisted hip and knee replacement surgery.

Dr. Kreuzer cares for patients living in Alief, Barker, Bellaire, Houston, Katy and North Houston. He is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients needing joint replacement surgery. He participates on multiple design teams, contributing to the development of the next generation of knee and hip implants.
Actively involved in training, he has been invited to lecture and demonstrate surgical techniques for surgeons throughout the United States, Asia and Europe.
He is a board member of the International Society of Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA) and serves as chairman of the Master’s course on anterior hip replacement surgery with the International Congress for Joint Replacement (ISJR).
Originally from Switzerland, Dr. Kreuzer moved to the United States in 1983.
