Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Scobercea has been in practice since 2003. He treats general orthopedic patients for conditions including joint replacement, laminectomy, herniated disc, joint pain and swelling, scoliosis, arthroscopy, bone fracture and carpal tunnel syndrome, as well as hand, wrist and knee osteoarthritis. He also sees sports medicine patients for prevention and treatment of injuries related to sports and exercise.
Dr. Scobercea serves as assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
