Texas native Dr. Drake LeBrun earned his undergraduate degree from Rice University, his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and a master’s degree in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Texas native Dr. Drake LeBrun earned his undergraduate degree from Rice University, his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and a master’s degree in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health. He finished his orthopedic surgery internship at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City and an orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. There he also completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement, followed by an M.E. Muller European Fellowship in adult reconstruction. His Muller Fellowship took him to Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Italy for advanced training in joint replacement.

In practice since 2018, Dr. LeBrun sees patients ages 18 and older. His primary clinical interests are anterior total hip replacement, total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, robotic joint replacement, muscle-sparing knee replacement, revision hip replacement, revision knee replacement, hip resurfacing, periprosthetic joint infection and periprosthetic fracture. He also speaks Spanish.

Dr. LeBrun takes a holistic approach to patient care, tailoring treatment plans to meet each patient’s specific needs.

In addition to his Muller Fellowship, Dr. LeBrun has traveled extensively for research and education. He is a recipient of the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, which allowed him to study surgery in economically marginalized regions around the world. 

Dr. LeBrun is married and the father of two daughters.
