Dr. Becky Fredrickson, MD

A native of Council Bluff, Iowa, Dr. Becky Fredrickson earned her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering with highest distinction from Purdue University. As a Fulbright Scholar, she conducted biomedical research at the University of London before entering medical school. Dr. Fredrickson earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a PhD in chemical engineering from Rice University. She completed an internship at Christus St. Joseph Hospital in Houston and an ophthalmology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine Cullen Eye Institute.

Board certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Frederickson practices comprehensive ophthalmology. She performs cataract surgery and treats glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, ocular infections and dry eye, as well as offering cosmetic ophthalmology treatments, including Botox, Juvederm and blepharoplasty (eyelid) surgery.

Dr. Fredrickson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Texas Ophthalmologic Association, the Harris County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association.

She lives in Pearland with her husband, an electrical and robotics engineer at NASA, and their two children. Her family enjoys traveling, outdoor activities and are active members of their church.
