Dr. Arvind Bhandari, MD

Dr. Arvind Bhandari earned his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark and a fellowship in medical oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

In practice since 1973, Dr. Bhandari is board certified in both medical oncology and internal medicine. He specializes in hematology and medical oncology, with primary clinical interests in breast cancer and lung cancer. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Texas Medical Association, Texas Society of Medical Oncology and Harris County Medical Society.

Dr. Bhandari’s patients describe him as a kind and compassionate doctor who listens to his patients. They express a high degree of confidence in his treatment plans and appreciate his ability to explain conditions and answer questions.

His dedication to cancer patients reaches beyond his practice. He founded an annual golf tournament in Sugar Land that benefits the American Cancer Society, and he is involved in several other cancer-awareness activities in Fort Bend County.
