Dr. Amirali Popatia, MD

Dr. Amirali Popatia earned his medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, a fellowship in medical oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and additional training in pathology at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

In practice since 1985, Dr. Popatia is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He specializes in medical oncology, internal medicine, hematology and oncology. He speaks Gujarati, Hindi and Urdu.

He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society and American College of Healthcare Executives.

Dr. Popatia treats each patient like a part of his own family, offering compassionate, highly personal care tailored to each patient’s medical condition and individual needs.
