After completing his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Rice University, Dr. Peter Ye earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he also completed his residency.

Dr. Ye, an OB/GYN specialist, also has advanced training in minimally invasive robotic surgery, open surgery and laparoscopic surgery. He sees patients for pregnancy-related conditions such as pre-conceptional counseling, pre-natal care in both normal and high-risk pregnancies and post-partum care, as well as non-pregnancy-related gynecological issues, including contraception, menstrual abnormalities or conditions requiring surgical intervention.

His primary clinical interests include management of high-risk pregnancies, evaluation of infertility, menstrual abnormalities, cervical cancer prevention and screening and minimally invasive gynecological surgery.

Dr. Ye’s approach to patient care centers on attentive listening and understanding patients’ concerns. He recognizes that many women have experienced dismissal or invalidation in past care experiences, but he wants all his patients to feel acknowledged and heard. It’s important for him to be genuine, compassionate and respectful of patients’ values and their goals, and he hopes they feel their needs and concerns are addressed in a considerate and understanding manner.
