Dr. Farren Ancar, DO

Dr. Ancar received her Bachelor of Science with honors from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala., and earned her medical degree from A.T. Still College of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Ariz. She went on to complete her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Ancar cares for women from their adolescence years and beyond. She treats patients with irregular menstrual cycles, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), abnormal Pap tests, sexual dysfunction, urinary tract infections and vaginal or pelvic pain or infections. Additionally, her clinical interest include hormone replacement therapy, PCOS and gestational diabetes.

Each of Dr. Ancar’s patients receives a highly personalized care plan that is easy to understand. Her diligent, compassionate and respectful approach to care helps ensure that patients feel informed, at ease and enthusiastic about the care they receive. She is also proficient in speaking Spanish.

In her spare time, she enjoys running, exercising, traveling, reading and spending time with her family and son.
