Dr. Dipika Ambani, MD

Dr. Dipika Ambani earned her medical degree at the Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical Group of Hospitals in India. She completed residencies at Topiwala National Medical College at the University of Bombay and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Ambani’s wide range of clinical interests includes general obstetrics; high-risk pregnancies; pregnancies complicated by conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes or other pre-existing conditions; routine gynecological care; infertility evaluation, testing and treatment; minimally invasive surgery; ultrasound; screening and detection of ovarian and endometrial cancer; and fitness, dietary and nutrition counseling. In practice in Houston since 1996, Dr. Ambani treats patients between the ages of 12 and 60. She speaks Spanish and four Indian languages.

Dr. Ambani is dedicated to providing patients with the highest quality medical and surgical care and working with them to ensure optimum health and wellness. Her practice combines caring, compassionate, personal attention with advanced technology, state-of-the-art medical care and convenient locations in Southwest Houston. Her patients feel that they can relate their issues more openly than with a male physician and have all their questions answered empathetically. 

A resident of River Oaks, Dr. Ambani has run half and full marathons. Her other leisure activities include fitness and travel.
