Dr. Akeem Adigun earned his undergraduate degree in medical technology at Morgan State University in Baltimore and his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Roseau, Dominica. He completed his internship at John F. Kennedy Medical Center-Hackensack Meridian Health in Edison, N.J., and residency at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J.
Dr. Adigun, who is board-certified in OB/GYN, treats patients from adolescence through menopause. His primary clinical interests include general OB/GYN care and pathologies of the pelvis, including endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, uterine fibroids and pelvic pain.
His philosophy of care is simple: to treat his patients in the way that members of his family would want to be treated. He approaches conditions with medical treatment when possible, utilizing laparoscopic surgery when necessary and addresses both physical and mental aspects of patients’ health.
