Dr. Yuchen Zheng, MD

Dr. Yuchen Zheng is a board-certified neurologist who earned her bachelor’s degree in preclinical medicine from the University of St. Andrews in the United Kingdom and her medical degree from the University of Edinburgh. She completed her residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood., Ill., and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Zheng is a member of the American Medical Association and American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Zheng’s clinical interests are in the comprehensive evaluation and management of neurological disorders. She focuses particularly on epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology, including electroencephalography (EEG), nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG) and their role in diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions.

Dr. Zheng sees patients 18 years and older. Her practice philosophy focuses on empathy, compassion and comprehensiveness.

Away from her practice, Dr. Zheng, a self-proclaimed “foodie,” enjoys dog spotting, restaurant hopping, and traveling.
