Dr. Jessica Schultz, MD

Dr. Jessica Schultz earned an undergraduate degree in biology from Oklahoma Baptist University and her medical degree at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, where she also completed her internship in internal medicine and her residency in neurology.

Board certified in neurology, Dr. Schultz has been in practice since 2001 and sees patients ages 18 and older. Her primary clinical interests are dementia care, developmental disabilities and stroke.

Her practice philosophy centers on the needs of the patient and family. She enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients by engaging with them, keeping open lines of communication, responding promptly to phone calls and partnering with them in making health care decisions. Her patients find her very approachable and
feel they are listened to and heard.

For Dr. Schultz, communication and cooperation are of utmost importance. In addition to patients and families, she likes to work as a team with primary care and other involved physicians, home health teams, case managers and social workers.

Dr. Schultz, who lives in the Richmond area, is married to a CPA and the mother of two grown children. A flute player, she met her clarinet-playing husband in a church orchestra, and music remains a big part of their lives along with boating. She also enjoys gardening and painting.
