Dr. Bobby Niemann is a board-certified general neurologist. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Texas State University in San Marcos and his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Baylor, Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas, and a residency in neurology at UTMB at Galveston.
His primary clinical interests are headaches, seizures, memory disorders, neuropathy and multiple sclerosis. He treats patients ages 18 and older.
His approach to patient care centers on listening, which not only establishes rapport but also provides important information about each patient’s condition. Always at the forefront is the patient’s perspective on the condition. He believes that patients want to know that someone goes beyond diagnosis and treatment and genuinely cares about them and what they’re experiencing. His patients value that he listens to them, gives honest feedback even when the answer may not be what they want to hear. And when he can’t provide an answer, he connects them with someone who can.
Dr. Niemann, a native Texan who grew up in Killeen, now lives in Montgomery. He and his wife have a blended family that includes three children and five grandchildren. He loves bass fishing, photography, woodworking, most water sports and being on the lake.
