Dr. Spencer Su, MD

Dr. Spencer Su received his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed both his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in nephrology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Board certified in nephrology and internal medicine, Dr. Su has practiced medicine since 2002. Further certified as a hypertension specialist and interventional nephrologist, Dr. Su has clinical interests that include  hypertension, proteinuria, kidney health, kidney transplantation, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

While a nephrology specialist, Dr. Su prefers to approach and treat the patient in a holistic way that emphasizes overall health and quality of life, rather than focusing only on the kidneys. He strives to provide the highest quality of care and ensures personal attention to each patient’s physical and spiritual needs.  He treats patients 17 years and older and speaks Mandarin and Spanish.

Dr. Su is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
