Dr. Samir Sahai received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas (UTSW) and completed his internship and residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston. He then returned to UTSW to complete his fellowship. 

Board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, Dr. Sahai has practiced medicine in Houston since 2011. His clinical interests include chronic kidney disease, kidney transplantation, home dialysis, peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis.

Dr. Sahai provides individualized care to his patients to help them live the lives they desire -- both emotionally and socially. He takes as much time as needed with each patient and is accessible to them. He treats patients of all ages and speaks Hindi, Urdu and Spanish. Vietnamese and Chinese interpreters are available at his clinic.
