After earning his medical degree at the American University of Antigua, Dr. Mouzamjha Faroqui completed his internship and residency at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he also completed his general cardiology fellowship training. Dr. Faroqui then went on to complete his training in interventional cardiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center of Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in New Jersey.
Board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, Dr. Faroqui is also board certified in echocardiography, cardiovascular computed tomography and nuclear cardiology. He has been in practice since 2015.
Dr. Faroqui is a strong proponent of preventive medicine. His primary clinical interests and experience centers on management of complex coronary and endovascular interventions, valvular heart disease, and treatment of pulmonary embolism or deep venous thrombosis. He is dedicated to bringing his patients state-of-the-art, modern, guideline-directed medical and invasive therapy.

A resident of the Greater Heights area, Dr. Faroqui is married and the father of three children. Away from his practice, he enjoys traveling, as well as watching and playing soccer and basketball.
