Dr. Manu Pillai, MD

Dr. Pillai is board certified in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography.

Dr. Manu Pillai was raised in Houston, Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at Brooklyn City College in New York. He received his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. Following a 3 year residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, he completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine. He then served as Chief Interventional Cardiology Fellow while completing an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine.

As a board certified interventional cardiologist he specializes in both coronary and peripheral vascular interventions. Dr. Pillai offers his patients cardiac catheterization through the wrist, or a radial approach, in order to improve patient safety and comfort.
