Dr. Don Pham, MD

Native Houstonian Dr. Don Pham earned his BBA in finance at The University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree at Creighton School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb. He completed his residency and a fellowship in cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by advanced training in interventional cardiology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, Dr. Pham has been in practice since 2013. He specializes in minimally invasive, radial artery access cardiac catheterization, a technique associated with improved patient comfort, faster recovery and reduced complications. He also speaks Vietnamese.

Dr. Pham seeks to provide consistent high-quality care for his patients, who appreciate how he listens to them, answers their questions and explains conditions clearly.

He has presented his research findings at national conferences, including the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology. He currently serves as an adjunct associate professor at the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine at the University of Houston, where he mentors the next generation of physicians.

Dr. Pham is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Foundation, American Heart Association and Harris County Medical Society.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Pham is an avid sports fan who has been a Houston Texans season ticket holder for more than 20 years.
