Dr. Don Pham, MD

Dr. Don Pham is a Houston native and is thrilled to be serving his hometown. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and his medical degree at Creighton School of Medicine. Dr. Pham completed both his residency and cardiology fellowship locally at Baylor College of Medicine before pursuing advance training in interventional cardiology at Johns Hopkins, which is consistently voted as one of the top 10 heart hospitals in the nation. He specializes in minimally invasive, radial artery access cardiac catheterization which is a technique associated with improved patient comfort, faster recovery and reduced complications.

In addition to his list of credentials, Dr. Pham considers himself a patient advocate who looks to provide consistent high-quality care. Furthermore, his dedication to the field of cardiology is evident by his numerous research publications which were presented at national conferences such as the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology. He currently serves as an adjunct associate professor at the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine at the University of Houston where he is actively involved in mentoring the next generation of physicians.

He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology while also being fluent in Vietnamese. Dr. Pham has been recognized by his peers with nominations for Physician of the Year at Memorial Hermann Southeast in both 2018 and 2022. He was selected as a Top Doctor for 2026 by his peers in Houstonia magazine. Outside of medicine, he is an avid sports fan and a proud Houston Texans season ticket holder for over 20 years reflecting his deep ties to the local community.
