Dr. David Wong, MD

After finishing his undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Illinois, Dr. David Wong earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois Medical School. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he served as chief cardiology fellow and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Wong, who has been in practice since 2013, is board certified in four areas: internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. He specializes in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology with primary clinical interests in the treatment and prevention of blockages of the arteries of the heart.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Wong has published research findings on heart attack diagnoses and treatment strategies.
